What do you do w/ ur PS3?

I was just wondering..What do you do with your PS3 when you are done with it, cuz i never really thought about it??

Always turn it off when I'm through using it. I'm afraid of ruining it if I leave it on for too long.

I have to switch it off cuz my two year old son pretends he is me and puts on my headset and turns on my ps3.....................he even knows how to eject and put in another game.......................he's defenintly a future gamer lol

I NEVER leave it on for more than an hour, only unless I'm downloading something. Othewise, it's usally on standby.

I have gamers on my buddy list that apparently keep their PS3 on, just about all day long.

considering all of the people who said they had problems with overheating, i'm not taking any chances. i always turn it off right away. anyone think i'm being too paranoid?

I think you are being too paranoid but thats just me...I bought a pelican cooling fan for mine and I don't have freeze ups anymore. I normally leave my PS3 run about 3 or 4 days out of the week without shutting it off. I haven't had any problems out of my ps3 and if I do I bought Gamestop's extended warranty so nothing to worry about for me.

I usually put it back in the box but thats just me. I dont know i feel since i paid nearly $700 for it that i should really take care of i cause i dont have the money to buy it again right now if something were to happen to it because i didnt take care of it.

there is a thing called a warranty and if something happened to your ps3 you could get a new one with no charge

well actually i'm a fan of leaving it on standby and in sleep, but i think it was creighton that always left his on, but just running F@H when he wasnt doing anything, how is that workin for ya creight?
