wouldn't it be great if sony or game stores allows us to upgrade our ps3 to a 80 gig by trading our 20 n 60 gigs n da 60 gigs owners pay 100 n da 20 gig owners pay 200?????..... lol... my idea

jus change your HDD yourself...tells you how to inside the manual without breakin tha warranty..and you can get a hard drive as biig as you can afford.

ya 160 gig is the highest i think.....and if you have an instore warranty for the 60 gig do you think they have to trade it in for an 80 gig cuz that $600 is how much the warranty is for?...you naw i mean

Not really. I have two hard drives. I didn't install a new one, but I have a 300gb external hard drive that I've got connected via USB. Cheaper way to go about it. Works pretty good and this way, whenever I need to, I can just pop it into a PC for anything I want to transfer in or out. So I didn't spend all the money for only PS3.
