DIRT or Sega Rally Revo??

I dont think Sega is going to pull it off. Look at Sonic, yeah it was a release game with fantastic visuals but the gameplay was bad. Sega's consoles and Sega GP were spot on in their time but they need to catch up a bit I think Dirt is gonna win by a long mile, a very muddy one at that!!!

yeah, cant wait for DIRT, should be a real challenge on the hardest difficulty level.

wudnt mind a bit of online content, not just a global time leader board.

Dirt is looking mighty fine but again PS3 owners have been let down with Dirt being delayed till late August/early September when the 360 version was released a few weeks ago. I saw an interview with one of the codemasters team on Gamespot and they said they are "optimizing" and adding 7.1 surround sound which the 360 version doesn't have. But a hands on with the PS3 version according to Gamespot is almost exactly the same as the 360 version which leads me to think that we get screwed AGAIN. Why do PS3 owners have to wait? The darkness is another game delayed on the PS3 but again the 2 versions are hardly distinguishable. Does anybody know why we have to wait, I'd love to know.

Programming is different for each system and since all the playstation systems, for some reason, have been harder to develop for sometimes games take a liitle longer to get working right. With the PS3 everything is new so programming can be extremely difficult. And with the ps3 they are running new engines and sometimes things don't always go as smooth as they expected.

Yeah I was reading about the reason for delaying the ps3 version some more today and they are saying the PS3 version will have 7.1 surround sound, a better framrate, and overall look better than PC or 360. With this being said I also know that the PS3 version of Sega Rally Revo is being ported to the other systems...so at least were not getting the port this time. The determining factor for me may be the multiplayer unless one game is just awful compared to the other cause I also read that the multiplayer for the 360 on DIRT isn't good. You don't really race anyone, you just race a clock and that determines who's better. Maybe I will buy both but for now I am still undecided.
