Mic Chat Room

Ventrilo is basically a VoIP (voice over IP) program that enables voice chat via a microphone or headset. It can be used for online games or just chat rooms, and many others. Thus, you can talk and strategize with other members and friends while you play your favorite game. This is a tutorial on how to set it up.

Step 1:
Download the Ventrilo Client from this site with respect to your OS.

Step 2:
When you're finished installing Ventrilo, open it and you should see a box like this:

Step 3:
Click on the arrow key next to username. Click new and type in your username.
Don't worry about all the other info it asks to fill out. Just press OK.

Step 4:
Now, go down to the Server Box and click the arrow. Select new and for the name, just type in something like Ps3 Multiplayer Chat.

Type in the following for the next two boxes:

Hostname or IP = 69.157.68.10

Port = 3784

Don't worry about the rest. Now, press OK.

Step 5:
You don't need to change any of the "Bindings" settings so skip that.

Step 6:
All you do now is press connect and you should connect to the Vent server.

Step 7:
Make sure your headset or microphone is plugged in so you can talk.
There are several rooms on the server. Most likely you'll be connecting to the chat rooms.

There you are! All done! There is a setup menu on the right, so you can do your tweaking there. All you have to do now is wait for someone to join you in the room!

The only rule is no racist or demoralizing comments. If any type of abuse is seen, you will be banned from the servers.

there just test sigs...easy to make..takes like 15 mins...you just have to have fast internet to see it

I thought you forgot to drop the password or something [cause Shervy got in without a problem, so I thought you left it]
