does any1 know what a referral is and how do you get them?

Referrals are when you first sign up and asked if anybody told you about this site. The name you type in will get the referral. Atleast thats what I think it means.

its basically getting another member to register at some site through you. Some sites give out points for referring other people to register.

For example Gametrailers.com gives out GTD (GameTrailer Dollars) for every person you refer. When you have enough can buy you games, consoles, shirts, etc
