Screw this, the linksys people are stupid.. at least this guy was.
My internet on my Laptop works, and same with my regular PC, its seems to be that the connection with my PS3 and router is off.
My router is from 04' lol if that has anything to do with it. Idk
my dad is calling some company to come fix it. I guess I'll be stuck without and RB6 for a couple of days.. I don't know if I can do it haha

Hardwire it dude! RJ45 cable can run upto 100mtrs, it would also sort any lagging/headset probs you are having!

Get a RJ45 cable (like the one you got inthe box(ethernet cable), you can get them in increments of 5 meters. Plug one end into the PS3 and the other into your router (assuming it has an ethernet socket, it should do) rejig your connection settings on your PS3 from wireless to wired and away you go. The cable is really cheap.

I had the same exact problem i tryed everything so i just decided to wipe the whole PS3 clean and reset the settings to default which worked

That would delete all your saves and your Rainbow Six character. Trust me, that is a little too extreme. You have a minor problem that those smart guys will fix in like 5 minutes.

The only way i know how to do that is to wipe all the memory off by resetting the whole PS3 but it will wipe your memory cards off too

Just go to the settings then go to the system setting and then all you have to do is go to restore PS3 system and press yes and that should do it

If not back up all your saves onto a SD or memory stick, then reset your system then re-install your saves!

its just a matter of time. happens to me often. all i do is uust sit and wait a couple hours. and try again. if that fails then i just unplug EVERYTHING
