PS3 Look To Wii

What do you think about the look of the PS3 and the look of the wii.?
I mean they are different but they still look a lot alike. Why has Sony not changed the look?
The PS3 is going to look a lot like the PS2 but rounded and silver I think they should have amde it different and more fun.

Well, we all have this preconception of what a console should look like.

Nintendo bringing out a Cube was an inspired marketing idea as it was funky.

The problem is, besides a cube or standard console shape there really isnt much you can do with it. With wireless controllers you could get away with a funky looking sphere on legs.

Quite frankly consoles are stupid anyway. I reckon the future is where these machines are integrated into the TV.

I mean, how many boxes have we all got under/next to your TV:

Cable Box
DVD
VCR
Games Console
Freeview
Front Speaker
Hi-Fi

Its a joke.
Bung them all in one machine. SONY could EASILY do this with their top of the range PCs (with development of the space).
In fact, how good an idea is that.. I tink I will call them! :o

I think there takeing the right track with this. I personally like the new design of the ps3, much better than the wii. Since the Ps3 did have the design first if I recall.

I honestly believe it looks sleek and sexy.

Due to the components there is a limit to the design.
I think they done a good job.

It looks like something Bang & Olufsen would do and thats a massive compliment!
