Sorry but i really need quick replies!!!! I knowe it sounds rather stupid but can your ps3 **** up when its standing up??? E.G the laser and sh1t!?

I have mine standing up with no cooling unit.. it always feels extremely hot but it hasnt had anything wrong... oh wait i see smoke!.. haha

DUDE dont mention tht, i had five of em' kept havin tyo send em back to microsoft reapair center through UPS wich took 7-14 days. i knocked em over 4 times and then the 5 time a brand new console overheated in 10 mins! SERIOUSLY 10 MINS I'M NOT BULL S.H.I.T.I.N

Panicky McGee over here! I actually heard it cools better when its standing up on its side. Anyone else hear that? I know some people have had problems, but I believe the overheating fears were so overblown. I remember last November at GameStop...the employees told me not to get it, it would just break. Its now August, not one complaint. In 2001, the boys at Best Buy told me the same thing about the PS2...still have it!

Oh yea i read that somewhere, someone took all these temperature readings or something and the heat rises out the top so its cooler
