will a ps2 game work on my ps3.

there is a ps2 game coming out soon and it is called premier manager 08 but it is not coming out for ps3 i wondered if anyone knew if it would work on ps3 or not. Thanks.

Definately will...

All this PS2 game stuff was a bit overdone. They were just protecting themselves. I have many PS2 games and they all work fine.
Certainly, any modern PS2 game will be fine.

Yup that's one of the great things about ps3.... every ps2 game works on it and you can upscale the graphics at the main menu also
