External hard drives?
I have a Western Digital external hard drive, which I wanted to use to copy some of my music collection to my ps3, but my ps3 doesn't seem to detect it. I would just copy from my zune, but it can't find it either. Any help would be appreciated. If you can help, I'm usually signed into PSN, so I would recieve the reply immediately. Thanks in advance.

Re: External hard drives?
The PS3 will only really recognize a USB 2.0 drive.
You could upload your files to the web and then go on the PS3 browser to download them but if there are a lot of files then it could take ages.

Re: External hard drives?
you may have to put your files in to folder(s). Then just go to music and select the drive followed by the triangle button.
It works for me. Have a go and let us know

Re: External hard drives?
Well my music organization on my external hard drive goes a little like this: External hard drive/Anthony's Music/Artists/Albums/Tracks. Any way I could organize it that would help?

Re: External hard drives?
u will need to put the music on one or more folder. u cannot have sub folders.
so in the hard drive u can have many folders, but no folders within a folder . ok

Re: External hard drives?
I've seen people talking about this Orb software, could I use that to download my music to my ps3?
