PS3 games online tournaments and events with regular competitions and Leaderboards

Well it seems are precious little PS3 games will be 60$ a pop. Considering the Blu-Ray Discs cost 10$ and the games would have cost 50$ intially so this seems justifiable.

Well, it still sounds expensive.

I thought the whole point of the integration and coming together of these technologies was to make life easier AND cheaper.

Why can't we have downloadable games into every household !!

Truth is, we can but theres too much money in how it is at the moment for the big boys to change it.
It started with downloadable music and TV/Films, nect it HAS to be games.

That would be really awesome if you could download the games. And it will be that way soon, I'm sure. But I'm thinking that it's going to be a few more years yet. No doubt the games will be atleast $50. I usually just wait a couple of weeks, untill you can get the games used. Then it is only like $5 lol.

Games you download. It sounds so obvious and its bound to be on the cards. There could even be 'rentals' where one would have access to the game on a secured server and play it for a pre-paid length of time.

Shouldn't SONY be paying us for these sorts of ideas!
