Yeah, the information bar slows my PS3 down some so I just turn it off. I'll be sure to check regularly to see if theres any actual NEWS. I don't feel like reading the same 3 headlines over while I watch my buddies play CoD4.

I think you guys took me the wrong way. I didn't mean to sound like the update was crap, its more playstation in general is crap. We're like permanently stuck in the development zone.

What I notice is when I am downloading PS Store items in the background and try to run anything in the XMB or start a game its like the PS3 locks up for 2-3 mins. Its very annoying. Its like Sony doesn't even test this shit and just shoves it out the door for us to test.

I'm fine with it. I think it's a great update, though they should have put more work into it [After all, it was supposed to be highly anticipated] I love the background themes, something new to look at. I don't listen to music on my PS3, [Even though I have over 90 albums on it] but the playlist feature is something I was expecting.
The information bar is a great addition, even though nothing interesting is on it now. But we might get the heads up on when in-game XMB will come, instead of spamming threads 'like it's just something to do'. Name that TV Show
