i.e. he may have it set up for 1080 when his set can only run 760. If it is that then what he needs to do is turn it off and then turn on the PS3 (at the back) and then press AND HOLD the little touch sensitive red start button for about 5 seconds until he hears a beep or two. Its a hard reboot and he will see a screen where he can adjust the output settings. He might need a bit of trial and error. If thats not it then I am stumped... |

Re: Huge PS3 Issue
Usually when theres a problem, always check to make sure the simple things are taken care of. Make sure he has the TV set on the right input, because it could be different then what he's use to. If that's not the problem then follow what Adrian said by rebooting your harddrive on your PS3. If your still having problems after that, PM me and I will go into more detail to try and help you out.

Re: Huge PS3 Issue
Thank you everyone with your insightful comments. He never had to switch from hdmi cable to the component cable. You guys think if he was trying to install something onto his ps3 that would cause it? If so, is there a way he can reformat his ps3 back to factory default? I will let him know to try what Adrian said by rebooting his harddrive on his PS3. Thanks again, and I'll keep you guys posted.
