they have yet to disappoint me with any of their metal gear solid games. the only thing other than the website they've done wrong is making us play as raiden in mgs2.

The website thing isn't even their fault. People are stealing the Beta via EU Store and then *****ing about how they can't steal easily. Just ****.

And MGS2 would fail w/o Raiden. As gay as he is, MGS2 wouldn't be fun if it wasn't from his naive standpoint. I mean can you imagine playing the Big Shell as Snake? If there was no Raiden, MGS4 would be completely different.

yes but at least we wouldnt have had to listen to his poofy lispy voice in those long codec talks, man i hope the new mgs has an improved codec, i mean ive seen the scene with otacon using mk2 and a camera but we havent seen any codec moments....ahh the games quintessential long talks

everyone seems to think the site ****ed up, i think this is konami's way to keep the amount of beta testers to a minimum, and to only let in those who prove they have patience god i hope im wrong...but hey i got mine yesterday

Actually, there is a difference between free (free sample) and not-for-sale (in friend's hand). So, according to you, everything is for sale regardless of whether it has a price tag or not. Even though your house doesnt have a price tag written on it, it doesnt mean that it isnt worth anything. It means that it is not for sale.

In your own example, the free sample was free. The people would trust that no dousche bags would take 200 of them. Once your friend had it, it was no longer for sale.

Getting back on topic, the beta was FREE. Free means that you dont have to pay anything (just making sure you are up to speed). If it werent for sale, it would not be in the playstation store. There's your 1st econ lesson

I just realized i didnt address the second part of that, because the PS3 browser wouldnt let me type anymore in the last box...

If its free, its free regardless of who wants it. They are hoping that no ass holes take too many or take them if they are not SUPPOSED to, and YES it was designed so americans would have a harder time. I was the asshole who lied about where i live.

Its basically about common courtesy. A doctor's office is handing out free birth control pills, and a guy takes them all for himself. They were not meant for him but he has the ability to take them. YES, he is an asshole who has no use for them. In a legal sense, it is impossible to steal something that is free.
