camping out of control

I know its part of the game and it is to be found in most games on the pS3 but , jeeeeeezuz, camping in MGO is obscene. Nearly every match you get playes coming right into the spawn and waiting or positioning themselves above it ready to snipe ur ass.

Seems to be worse at urban ultimatum and grozny and midtown, heck, all of them... :(?

Even with few second spawning it doesnt seem to help, if you dont see these bastards then your dead.
The thign is, why do they do it, theres no skill involved. Igues it is tempting when there are only a few playes otherwise you get no acrtion. I just wonder if its the kids who are doing it as they havnt yet been intriduced to words like honor and sportsmanship.

There are so many things that make MGO lame. Camping is only one. It sucks signing up for a Konomi ID right away. Took me about 30 minutes on the stupid ps3 controller.

Perhaps the host should have an 'optional' setting when creating a game which puts a 'force field'/you are leaving the maps kinda things around the Team's base which effectively stops them from getting withing a certain distance. It would be up to the publishers to draw the lines here and peoplke would then choose to use it or not.

I cant see that it would even be that difficult to program in but I guess these publishers dont really take into consideration what peopl complain about so long as they roll the bucks in.

Campers only camp because they....well....ummmm....SUCK. They suck at the game so they camp, get kills using no skill and then come top 5 or 3 or whatever, and expect respect because there "so good!!!"

NO offense, but u dont really get sniped out of ur spawn unless u go to the wrong spt where they can see you. You all think it sucks because u suck. Plus, it is easy to run away because u have the 10 second sheild

i agree with ghost assassin completely, spawn camping isnt that popular really, its just the snipers in general that piss me off, but u just gotta deal with it, makes it a challenge really

I hate people camping by spawn sites as it really takes away from the game, but I don't see what everyone's problem with camping in general is? I do it on OCD4 if it's a no respawn game and I get ripped into for it. If that's the wayh i want to play then that's how i'll play. If you don't see me and get killed then that's your lookout and you should have recced properly.

FOr me mate it's that the game is going to be expanded like mad and I think it wil become quite an epic online experiance, but you're gonna have to pay for everything. If you've got a great income then fair enough but i'm a 15 year old with very little and I can't afford to spend loads of money on updates when I've got more important things to spend it on. I can see people like me having problems finding games eventually because we havn't got the neccasary updates and expansions. And lets face it, japan hardly needs the money

oh man. those damn campers are so lame. And it's true. they tend to be the worst in Urban Ultimatum. I?ll have like 4 snipers lingering on the rooftops waiting for us to respawn. And it?s a damn base mission! who?s getting the bases!! stop trying to find a cheap way to rack up your kills! to me, there really has yet to be anything more annoying in MGO.

yeah i can testify to that. i dont camp on MGO unless i know theres a sniper or something but my whole team were just laying on a building. we won the first game after i got all the bases (that surprised me!) but we lost the second one in like 50 seconds

i used 2 have a problem with spawn campers but now i dont...its basically common sense...if you know there is an enemy around the corner waiting on you, then throw a nade and keep it moving...or jus simply go somewhere else and come from behind and kill that spawn camper...im not gonna lie...i do it 2...but the only reason i do it is because i was good enough 2 get to the spawn site and maintain my position in the 1st place...if you ppl use your common sense and stop running straight 2 the spawn camper then you wouldnt be on here crying about it...PRINCE-of-DEATH...

oh yea...snipers are garbage...those are the ppl who cant shoot face 2 face so they hide out and give headshots 2 ppl that didnt even know they existed...assault rifles ftw...

i snipe, and sometimes i do get close enough to use pistol. just because you get sniped and you dont know where they shot you from doesnt make them cowerds, all you have to do is to think where they could of shot you from and go and find them. what they do is wait for stupid people to run out into the open and then kill them.

Pretty much the same thing I do but I like to use the camera to find them and wait for them. They don't camp after you choke them out I find
