How to Join:
Sign up below and include in your RSVP comment what your PSN username is if it is different from your forum username.
Please change your MAYBE's to YES if you can definately play and vice versa.


How to Play:
At the designated start time the host will create the Poker room.
From the Lobby enter the room which shows the Host's username.
Use the password mentioned above.
Each room holds a maximum 6 players and the host will start the game on a full table or when the host feels enough time has gone by.
More rooms will be created if enough members have signed up.

This is a Sit & Go game so Players are eliminated until a winner is found.

Duration: This could take a while!
Type: Sit & Go
Table Limit: No Limit
Buy-In: $200 + $15 (rememer this is only Play Money! )
Blinds/Ante Leveks: 5 minutes



Leaderboards:
The top players in each room accrue points which go on the Poker Leaderboards over at PS3Leaderboard.com.
The allocation of points is dependent on the amount of Member players in that room, as below:

6 members in a room:
1st Place = 100 Multiplayer Points (MP)
2nd Place = 80 MP
3rd Place = 60 MP
4th Place = 40 MP
5th Place = 20 MP


5 members in a room:
1st Place = 80 Multiplayer Points (MP)
2nd Place = 60 MP
3rd Place = 40 MP
4th Place = 20 MP


4 members in a room:
1st Place = 60 Multiplayer Points (MP)
2nd Place = 40 MP
3rd Place = 20 MP


3 members in a room:
1st Place = 40 Multiplayer Points (MP)
2nd Place = 20 MP

2 members in a room:
1st Place = 20 Multiplayer Points (MP)


Multiplayer Points contribute towards your total Rewards Points which are redeemable against PS3 accessories and games in the Store.


Note:
This is just a fun game of online Poker and all you can win is points.
There is no money involved in any capacity and nor can we condone any activities such as side bets for real money as this may break the law within your particular State or region.
Any member found undertaking such side-bets will be expelled from the site and network.

PLEASE Sign up using the RSVP form below.
Click on 'Maybe' if you are unsure if you can make it.
Should you not be able to make it you are able to change your RSVP status at any time.
We use the number of sign ups to determine how many rooms or hosters are needed.
You are expected to play under your usual PSN Username. If you take part in the event under a different username then please ensure you inform an Event Coordinator as soon as possible after the event or make sure you include your username in the comment field when signing up.

Please refer back to this page 30 minutes and 5 minutes before the start in case there are any changes.



If you can, please take a picture of the results screen or wite down the results of placings within your match in case the designated host has problems.

Yeah, just downloaded it myself today and its pretty cool and fast enough to have some fun with.
If we get enough interest in there then I will consider having a proper Tournament as well.

This is a Global event, by the way, everyone is welcome.
I believe you can only get this game by going online on your Playstation 3 and downloading it from the store. It's probably not available on the high street.

Most importantly, make sure you are allowed to play this game!

Although, its only for fun it may put you on the path to becoming a Poker Addict and the next thing you'll know is that you'll be smoking, drinking spirits and staying up too late for you own good....

Poker is bigger than any console game , had been around for centuries and will be here well after we have gone so get involved and find out what all the fuss is about!!

For newbies, there are plenty of tutorials and tips on how to play all over the web. The High Stakes Poker game itself has a cool offline game on which you can hone your skills.

It's dead simple and you can find millions of help articles online.

Fad, I think one room will be enough due to drop outs. If the numbers increase further we can consider having a second room.

You firstly create the pic and then host it and then link to it by adding the web address to it by going into your User Cp (control panel) and clicking on Edit Signature.

If you need help with a picture or hosting then go and visit out graphics section (click Forum above^ and scroll down until you see it)

I dunno, one might be enough on the basis that out of the 11 members who said yes, a lot will drop out. That always happens due to people forgetting or not getting in.

If will be a case of looking for my room at the start time and getting in quick.

Admin said to make it just one room this time as its the first one of its kind and he needs to gauge the drop out rate. As they are password protected rooms, what we dont want, is like 2 or people only in the room, which sounds right to me.

If the numbers are justified then we will have 2 tables next week and anybody who wants to be a host should let me or admin know.

i will create the room exactly at 9.00 UK time zone (10 minutes from this post) giving everyone an equal chance of getting in.
