How to Join:

Make sure you RSPV correctly. All RSVP's indicating attendence will be sent a friend request on PSN from one of the hosters indicated above. If you do not accept it, you will not be included in the event as there is no other way to get you into the match.


How to Play:

The hosts will be started 10 minutes before start time to accomodate connection times. The matches will start promptly at the indicated times. Please be as early as possible to ensure your connection prior to game start.

Game invites will be sent out to members signed up 10 minutes prior to start time.

The match is for one 20 minute game and one map only.


How to Win:

Players finishing in the top 3 of each room will recieve the following Multiplayer Points towards the Leaderboards at PS3Leaderboard.com:


1st Place: 50 MP
2nd Place: 30 MP
3rd Place: 10 MP


Rules:

Default equipment restrictions are in effect.

Glitching or cheating of any kind will not be tolerated. You let yourself down and spoil it for others. Guilty parties will be disqualified, banned and reported to Sony!
Please report any instances of cheating to a Moderator or Admin.

I have no doubt you werent cheating. I was mighty pissed off at the end of that match. It was bad before, bad at the start and got worse..:(

I videod it like I do ALL events I play in (and I play more than anyone on here, believe me) and if anybody watched it they would actually think you were cheating its so unbelievable. I know its not your fault.

I know, we all know, its due to connections, speeds and those pesky gremlins.

I wont play in the events until I get myself a seperate low-speed broadband setup. My problem is probably unique on this site in that a wickedly expensive leased line for myself. Whereas most people will be sharing their 'pipe' with anything up to hundreds of other people, I share with nobody. Somehow, this ****s me over. I was bloody good at COD3 until I bought this bastard line.. :(

Now, in COd3, Rainbow 6 and MotorStorm somehow I get done over by the slower connections.. bloody wierd. you'd think it was the opposite.


Anyway.. I am quite willing to host a dedicated server for this event and am more than happy not to play in it!

It is probably too late to split it. Other regions will turn up anyway and the problem will be the same.

At the very least, as mentioned the tuesday events should be UK or European hosters only like Madtraxx and the thursday events should be just US hosters. that might help. Then, grumpy tossers like myself after events should have a lot less to moan about!

as sunday covers both regions we can have a mixture. We can try and get these hosters to have their regions players in but i think that will make the event even harder to organise.

Please just indicate your country when registering. UK players will be with UK hosters and US players will be with US hosters. This way, pingrates will be the best they can be.

As for finals, I have suggested a UK final and a US final. The only other option could be rotating a UK host and a US host for the finals and it will be a dedicated host run by a person who is NOT participating in the final. This way nobody has anyone to complain about that falls anywhere in the event-coordinators liability.

As we all now understand hosts have a definate advantage it makes sense for hosters to come from the 'normal' players, players who are enthusiastic but not particularly good. I think thats the only fair way to do it.

As i said, i am willing to host this one on a dedicated server and not play, as i couldnt possibly live with myself if I won!!

There is definately 100% truth in this hosting shit as if you look on the 15th July event, I hosted my room and WON against decent players like Slickguy and VST_Bloodfest and I AM CRAP !!! That proves it!

Madtraxx is european so he is fine to host the room so that may be enough..
i only recognise hitman1993 and agent-shadow as from our region.

It looks like most of the signups are American so you will need 2 hosters for your side!

I have not heard from MadTraxx as yet so currently you are the only volunteer. Although he usually has no problem, I can't count on him just yet.

srr about that, thats because i normaly can always host this 2 months. In september i got school again and i will still host if i may but there gonna be somethimes i cant.

I got an other probleme, i kinda crossed my download limiet for this month and internet is running slow now. i have tryet to play but its verry lagy, i think its not a good idea to let me host for the rest for the month
