Ok, Well I should be gettin the shit to send it away 2moro, but im hearin alot of people say they exchanged it.I got the 3yr service plan, but will Target (Tahget)allow me to walk in, giv em my 2yr old one which in Basic Terms is "****ed" and they would giv me a brand new one, no questions asked? or is that only with this infamous best buy, And kenny_killa, u live down the street and best is a good 12-15min ride...if ur talkin about the close one in Everett,or in Saugus at Square 1 Mall

it takes a least 4 to 5 days just to get a box shiped from sony to you . so you can mail it in and than 9 to 14 days to get another one back from sony. so if you do the math it adds up to 3 to 4 weeks for the whole ordeal to end(i have gone through this shit 3 times with sony.) one time the refurbished unit lasted a couple of fu-king hours. after I wrote a letter to sony admin. did they act on it and set me up with a rep I can call any time if I have another problem. he has promised a brand new one if this unit I have now breaks...

and before someone says it .... I wont just tell him its broke again just to get a new one... I dont have to .. the 80 gb's will break in time on their own. I have a warranty until jan 09...

as long as its not a prorated warranty. they will give you a new one ,if its in stock ..it should say it in the fine print on the warranty slip..

I was wondering about that actually, when my 40 gig crap the bed I got the last one best buy had in stock. So I was curious if I would have to wait to get another one from that store, or would I be able to go to another best buy and pick one up there.

because when i said it even know i am they send out a new ps3 to you in a week then u send yours away.

i was screaming and shouting at them cursing and swearing because they hung up and cutting out when i was using a mobile. i told the daft tramp to phone me she was like OK OK OK OK then she never phoned then i got even madder. then used a landline. then they where taking the piss with the post cold with this Y for yankie n stuff over and over got me even madder. then they told me to go and fetch the code of the ps3? then took a mile long to read out then they repeated it 2-3 times. then i was like just send out the ps3 they said ok . went over the details and finished. there just after money in my case.

you would have to wait till the store has another delivery of 40's.. or they can order one from sony for you .. but the 40's are the shit they are the best ones as far as longevity is concerned

once a ps3 has over heated its dead forever, lol im on 60gb no 5 but luckily in UK replacements from sony come in less than 48 hours, but if the warranty has run out in uk it cost 200 pounds to replace which is 100 cheaper than a new one bit of a rip off really but i got like 3 years insurance on mine as i knew there was bound to be some teething problems
