Yes this would be a first time, more or less, game between US/UK and the rest to follow I assume. I need to get whoever is going to be the UK leader added on ps3 friends list if we are doing this tomorrow Sat 29th March at 5pm est. We should meet up an hour earlier to get everyone online and hash out any last minute details. I'll use a dedicated host on my connection for one of the two sets of matches. And we'll figure out who the UK will use for their set of matches.

As far as I can tell, nobody has put up the UK 'squad' yet!!

I am also wondering if I should add this as an official event on the PS3 Leaderboard site in that players should sign up for their Team on the Leaderboard site and the members should join. This might give it some control and integrity.

I could also then put up a mini-league standings and perhaps we could also have a small knockout tourney.

I was also thinking, if the demand is there, then we could have 2 official teams from the popular regions.
Like a USA2 and UK2 and Europe2 as I am sure there are alot of players who would like to play in this and we have to think of everyone really.

Ok, the post said have the roster ready by Sat. And I agree, there are probably several from the US that will want to play also. I guess post a confirmed date Adrian and we can organize ourselves according to that date.

I wanted to reconfirm that this Intercontinental Cup should also include COD4 as that is supported strongly.

If everyone is happy with this whole setup I can create a special forum section and the threads for each challenge can be placed in there.

To start this all off I just need to know the official Leaders (one person to start with) for these teams:

USA1
USA2
UK1
UK2
Europe
Americas
ROTW (Rest of the World)

If Europe can field 2 squads then great.

Each Team should have 8 players and the actual matches, allowing for connection issues, should be a minimum of 4 vs 4 and a maximum of 6 vs 6.

How does that sound?

When I have these leaders' names I will set up an official schedule for when the matches should be played with its own page on PS3 Leaderboard.

That sounds great, we'll pick 2 leaders for Teams USA. I think a consensus of US players who decide to play in this should decide who each teams overall leaders should be.

Assassin_1992 picked the UK squad...I think it was a page back. We are all aware we are playing.

I think adopting this into a propper leaderboard would be good. I think Abe should receive a medal for this for the idea...
