SD or not SD

ever sonce i bought this game one things been nagging me; Does the silencer work? I dont notice a difference whichever gun im using and i only use the suppressor on the MP5 for the effect Th ereason i wonder is because i like the scout tactical sniper but i always use the SD rifle t the top of the list.

It works as in u don't show on the radar and decreases weapons fire power

and i havent played this game but it helped with the massive amount of flash with some guns in R6V1

with the radar do you mean multiplyer?
