Re: how do u feel about glitchers?
What glitch or exploit is the most frequent or rather that you see used the most often?

Re: how do u feel about glitchers?
I dont think ive ever seen a glither in resistance. I know all of the glitches, they were fun to mess around with, but i see no real point or advantage using them in online games(maybe just to show off to someone else that you know something they don't?)

Re: how do u feel about glitchers?
The one I see most often used is in Somerset. The only advantage that would have is sniping or using a LAARK in CTF.

Re: how do u feel about glitchers?
I apprecite there is a lot of information out there for people to see what all these glitches are and I conceed that i guess it is fun to try and see what they are like.
However, using glitches to one's advantage in a serious online match should be punishable by an agonizing death!

Re: how do u feel about glitchers?
I usually play CTF, and one big advantage of glitching is hiding while both flags are taken and you cannot score. (Because of Flag Exchange) You can hide off the map while your teammates seek out the other flag and return it so you can then score. Other than that, simply sniping and/or hiding in the opposing team's base for its obvious logistical purposes, are also advantages.
To me, glitching is definitely wrong in Ranked games. However in unranked games, where nearly 80-90% of the players already know about the glitches, to me it only makes the game more interesting and increased the usable size of the map. There's frequently a member of the opposing team off the map in your base sniping, and half the fun is seeking him out and/or avoiding him.
As a general rule I play by, I don't glitch (in unranked games) unless I see the other team doing it. Then it's fair game as far as I'm concerned. It does have it's advantages, so why should the other team have an advantage?

Well, the problem here is that by joining them you are in fact helping to promote it.. Newbies coming online will see it and want to try it themselves. before you know it, the whole thing spirals downward and the game becomes a nonsense.
At the end of the day, I want to play the game as it was meant to be played, how it was designed...
yeah, have a little look and see what the glitches are like but dont use them in a game... If you see it, send the player a message and tell them to stop it in the interests of fair play.

Surely you can't dismiss the fact that the glitches, at least in some respect, were put there on purpose. How else would you explain a teddy bear to spawn off the map in a 40p Somerset map?
To me, the only thing that remains in question is which ways to get off the map are on purpose, and which are truely glitches.

Re: how do u feel about glitchers?
I think glitching purposely takes away from other users game experience. For this reason alone, its not a good practice.IMO

Re: how do u feel about glitchers?
There's always going to be cheaters/glitchers/hackers. The only thing that keeps me positive is how fast the company can fix the problem :).

That hardly is going to help anybody win a game...
I think what we're talking about here is people taking advantage of glitches to gain an advantage...
being able to hide behind a wall in Eder Dam was definately NOT meant to be there...

All I'm saying is that the developers/testers/programmers should be familiar with the consequences of glitches, from the popularity of the many halo 2 glitches. The teddy bear shows the possibility of it being done on purpose, hell the grass itself off the map being solid is proof enough. They knew what they were doing. Their motivation is at question though.
Whenever my clan does a battle, the first rule that's always said is no glitching.

Re: how do u feel about glitchers?
anyone cheating in any way realy pisses me off. i was playing a death match in grimsby and some idiot was able to disappear and then reappear about 2 seconds later behind you. it wasnt long before everyone worked out who it was, "forgot" it was a free for all game, and just ganged up on this guy... i think he got the message.
