PS3 games online tournaments and events with regular competitions and Leaderboards

Okay, so it seems that you can access the songs on your HDD to play while you're playing Ridge Racer 7. The question is...how? My option for NET disc is grayed out and I can't access it. It also seems that you can download info (tracks and music) from the Playstation Store, but I'll be damned if I can find it on there.

I love Ridge Racer, but that dance music is driving me batshit. I need some Audioslave. I need AC/DC. I need Rage Against the Machine. Then I'll have my foot to the floor, then I can race...and maybe teach the Japanese a thing or two (then again, maybe not!)

Tis a shame... You were meant to do this but it turns out SONY have not put it in the OS yet.

It will be on an update soon, probably in the next one or one after that as loads of people have asked for it.

There are two things you canot do but will be able to soon:

Listen to your own CDs/installed tracks whilst playing another game

and

Download/copy tracks from an existing game.

personally, I'd love that Call of Duty music, the one when you are online.
Its superbly melodic and pretty haunting.

Thanks, Jake...good to know. I was beginning to think I have a dodgy version of RR7 or, worse still, a dodgy PS3.

1. You will be able to do what you wish with music within 3 months.

2. Nope, you'll never beat the Japanese at Ridge racer 7 !

Ridge Racer 7 was my first game , got it with the system....
Played it that week then gpt Resistance and havent played it since!

Its really good, very slick and playable but I cannot stop playing those damned addictive shooting games..
(I play COD3 even more than RFOM now)

In my opinion, Ridge Racer is way better than any Need for Speed game, only because of the amazing drifts you could pull off.

I agree with that..

NFSC is kinda just plug your throttle to the floor and have a laugh.
Its really arcade like , which is fun , of course.

RR7 is far more rewarding.. The drifting is really spot on and the whole driving experience is fantastic.

Best racing game so far... better than the 'current' GT HD freebie as well...

The net disc is for via ps store downloads like classic remastered RR music
