Thanks to all who have posted and have sent along words of compassion and caring, you have my greatest respect. Myself and Malachi are leaving on Monday morning to drive to meet with boon's family. As I've stated in previous posts, we will be logging on to this site and let his family see what great people there are in the gaming community. God bless you all. Curly.

Well I didn't know boon at all i had only seen him once on the forum i think. So i dont know him but im sure he was a loving farther, gamer and and overall great man. My condolences to his family. I leave a prayer , i tried to pick out the right one so i think this isit. To his life and love :

On behalf of all the guys from the SAS, i'd like to say goodbye boon. Your in a better place now. My condolenses and thoughts are with family and kids.

Never really knew you but the fact that someone who you met on a computer would spend there moeny time and thoughts to go out of there way and visit you, must mean you were 1 of the nicest guys out there.

You fought the cancer as much as you could but god decided he needed u in heaven (your helping his clan out ) << i dont mean any offense out of that.

Hey guys its Wes or SnakeAttack....obviously. Fred(Boon) was and always will be one of my best friends. Starting from the beginning. When I first met him we were in HG. He had joined not long before me i believe and he was the first person i really connected with. We would always play early in the morning on Call of Duty 3. We always made the other team mad cause i would drive him to the flag on the jeep and he would grab it, gun down a few,and return it. We'd win about every game. Boon knew how to manage this and spend time with his family.....Successfully. Which is a feat I've seen only two other people do (Curly and Malachi). Then came the forming of TU. He made the clan with a purpose to have fun, to be an elite clan, but to mainly be fun. He made every attempt to put everyone before himself. It was something i truly respected. He helped me in so many ways become the player and the person I am today. So with this I will miss boon but I will not forget him. RIP Fred "Boondoggle" Payne. Although you leave us in this life atleast there will be no more suffering for you. You will be loved, missed, but not forgotten in every life you touched. RIP FRED "BOONDOGGIE" PAYNE.

wow this is very sad news i and the members of x419x have been very sadden by the news of his sickness and we all have been hopping for his recovery. I truly hope his family finds the strength to continue on.

I think that setting up a tournament on his name would be an awesome idea and a great honor. Our clan has changed our clan tags on COD4 to say BOON in dedication to our friend BOON whom we never met, but his news has been devastating to everyone.
