PS3 games online tournaments and events with regular competitions and Leaderboards

We are now taking signups for the GTA IV Teams League.

This will be a Monthly League based Leaderboard based on our usual format. It will be for teams of 2 members and upwards.

May will see the start of the monthly titles and bonuses.

Live Events

Live Free for All events for this game will also be starting in May. We will be looking for game coordinators for this event. If you are interested in this position then please contact me by PM. .

I'm willing to help whit the live events.
Hopefully the servers wont be as bad as cod4 and most other PS3 game's

Well, that probably depends on who is running them. As far as I know, SONY is NOT running them so it may suffer like all the others.

The one good thing is that team matches will likely be with smaller teams so the influence of laggy players will be diminshed.

Anyway, to be honest Nick, I would like to see some new members who haven't hosted before become game coordinators for this one tio help spread the duties around. Though, I might need you to help lead the events at the start.

If anybody has views on specific rules and settings for the league then let it be known in this thread or send me a PM about it.

I can host mate i have a good connection. When i usually host cod4 cbs we never lag...

I can host too, I rarely lag when I host on COD4, I will get the game on the release day, or at least the day after..

You're making a mistake by creating GTA IV into a competition.

In live event/clan matches would everyone play for the leaderboard and that might bring off the fun of it.
There should we something were you can win anything.
Like events whitout MP.
And a seprate Leaderboard whit out rankings ( just to see who likes to play for fun)

I think you should leave it be. I know it's going to be a game of year, but that doesn't mean you have to get involved with it. Just let it go. It's the kind of thing that shouldn't be organized

Well, as always it's up to the masses.

Right now, I dont even know how a GTA IV event would even work!

But if the members want it then it can be done.
It also depends on things like lobbies and private invite capability.

It might well work better as JUST a fiun event with randomised team creation (if that's possible).

Live events don't have to be about Multiplayer Points and prizes. The actual raison d'etre is about fun!

I just like the thrill of beating people, and meeting new ppl to own...but there is always some competition and i think this GTAIV event will turn for the better
