Socom Beta Review

The beta for the most part is amazing. I mean yeah it takes like 5 minutes for the map to load up but its a beta. And sometimes it gets laggy and there are issues initializing the network, but its deffinitly worth it. The game play is fun and its alot of gun fights. I Like how its a game that is going to be won completely off team work and not one person can completely dominate a game. Also i like how you can customize your character with everything. My mercinary costume is a gay with a backwards cap and dressed him ina black load out. I love how you make your character to your style. What are your guys oppinions on the beta? That is if you have it

Did you just come out of the closet?

Its pretty kick-ass main complaint is like Beast said about slow loading and a little lag here and there. I am sure the game will be much better along those lines. Graphics are excellent and the fact that you can customize not only your character but also your complete loadout makes this game a must.

Mine was given to me by my stepson but my other stepson has to pick up his card from gamestop maybe monday. I'll add you and give you one if you don't have one by then

yeah also another cool thing is if the other team is talking and your are very close to them you can hear them threw your tv( because your team comes out of the headset). It was funny today some guy was like dude im in the belltower i just press the talk button and go hows the bell tower he goes "oh sh1t " lol....

It's fun now that I've figured some things out. I too don't like the load time. Last night I had to shut my game down because it wouldn't load the game. It reminds me of GRAW2 alot. I don't like that you have keep messaging each other to figure out what channel, game etc people are in. I with they had the invite friends list like cod4.

Yeah hopefully the load issues they have will be worked out by game time.They do have a friends list there.

I can't get a code.

I'm gutted as I have never even played Socom before and want to give it a go.

I might buy one off eBay...Is it worth it?

Well all of the previous socom games have had in- game friends list and all you had to do was go to there name and click follow and it would immediatly bring you to there game. Im sure this feature will be in the real game...

I know you guys want to play the game right now, but if you go back into the PS store and purchase Qore episode 1 you get the beta on Spetember 12th for $2.99
