Mixed reviews!

Well, talk about a difference of opinion.....:rolleyes:

IGN reader average = 7.4
IGN Press average = 4.2
Gamestop reader average = 3.5/5
Gamespot = 4.2

Sega, Sega what have you done.....?!:(

This should have been a game worthy of being in anybody's collection but the majority of reviews ahve been horrid.
There have been a few 8s and 9s but they must be from huge Sonic fans who just love the genre. However there are far more 1s and 2s such is the anger at what a dismal game Sega went and created. It doesnt move the game on at all is the concensus of the reviews..

I hasten to add that I havnt seen it in the flesh so I shouldnt be judging it but one has to respect the opinion of many others...

umm, youre right about the reviews, looking around its been pretty much slaughtered by the media and owners alike.

I only played on it for a bit and thought it was fun but ou have to like those sort of games. The kids will love it and Sonic fans will enjoy it regardless.

What they didnt do , Sega, was make a game that moves the game on. If anything the last Sonic on the pS2 was better...

I would've have kept kicking him in the nuts politely asking, "Wouldn't you agree that this better than PS3 Sonic?"

Actually, I was surprised to find out that Sony allowed Sega to make a Sonic game for the PS3 in the first place. I know Sonic is the face of Sega but, come on. I would've liked to see other Sega games updated to "next-gen" qualifications. In fact, I'll add on a new thread discussing which games should have been put onto the PS3 system instead of Sonic the Hedgehog.
