Do people still play this Online?

i am just wondering if people still play this game online...i bought it awhile ago and i have never played it online, i have only been playing single player....from the topics i have read in this section it sounds great...

if people do still play it online do you guys have any tips for me?
what is the learning curve of online play?
if i jump in now is it too late because i have heard there are weapon and equipment upgrades...so will i be at a disadvantage?

There is a learning curve but theres no weapon upgrades just your clothes. Yes, people play it and its FUN.

yeah i just got Splinter Cell like a month ago and yes people still play online..that's all i've done so far lol. I normallly do co-op modes with people on my friends list but the other game types are pretty cool too... If you are ever feel like playing co-op modes with someone just hit me up on the ps3 cause i'm still not very good
