Avs do suck.. You should atleast be able to put up a fight with or without

Miracle my nuts. The game was over by the first period. Series again was too
easy for the Wings. 3-0 in 1st period!! Enough said!

Bring on Crosby and the Penquins..

I would pick Zetteberg, Datsyuk, OzzY, Lidstrom, and Franzen over any
Penquin anyday.. Even Crosby.

Theres a reason why the Red Wings are the BEST team in the NHL.

Should be an amazing Stanley Cup!!

Yea and I'd take Crosby, Malkin, Hossa, Fleury, Staal over any Red Wing anyday. Pittsburgh is a team that can skate circles around you OR simply get a 2 goal lead and strangle you the rest of the game. It's actually quite amazing to see how they can play so many different styles. Their defense gets overlooked but oh well. The game Sunday against the Flyers was pretty pathetic. Could have very easily been 10-0 isntead of 6-0. Having 2 of the top 3 players in the league on your team isn't a bad problem to have either. If Fleury plays like he has been playing then I don't see how you stop Pittsburgh. Osgood is going to have to have a monster series(both goalies are). Can't wait til Saturday!

This should be one of the best Stanley Cup Finals that any of us have seen
in ages.. The 2 best teams in the NHL, not to mention 4 players (Datsyuk,
Zetteberg, Crosby, and Malkin) that arguebly are the best at what they do.
This series is gonna be hella fun considering theses teams have never met in
the regular season. Both are kicking ass in the playoffs.

Wings in 7.

And the parade a couple days later in Downtown Detroit!!!

This Stanley Cup should bring the NHL back on the map. It's been pretty
dead ever since the Strike... I just don't know what the **** the NHL was
thinking scheduling the Stanley Cup Finals on the same days as the NBA
Conference Finals. Why wouldn't you want a day all to yourself so that the
whole world will be able to watch instead of half and half. Not to mention,
why are you gonna schedule GM 1 of the Stanley cup the same day and time
as when the Eastern Conference Finals start. 2 Detroit teams playing at the
same time ****ing sucks.. Atleast schedule it with the West teams, not the
East.

You pretty much hit the nail on the head about everything other then your prediction

Although I also think it will probably go 7 games. Just a great situation for the NHL. THey couldn't have asked for a better scenario to play out.

Obviously it's the Red Wings since they were the #1 team in the regular
season..

Do I even have to mention that the Wings have the best home ice record in
the NHL.. 29-9-3.

WTF are talking about kid.. Kinda stating the obvious that the regular season
is over and it's pretty obvious that the Red Wings have shown up, if they
didn't then they wouldn't be in the Finals... Am I right? We definitely showed
up against the Predators, Avs, and Stars so I think the Wings will be fine.

Penquins won't destroy anything. And no, I'm not saying the Wings are gonna

They've been trying to ban the octopus for years now, and yet fans still roll
into Joe Louis with octopus to throw. Octopus at Wings games will never
stop. I hope not cause I love it!

Cool but disgusting tradition... Since they have banned the octopus throwing,
people are sneaking it in anyway they can. I still remember seeing this one
guy that was sitting in front of me. Throughout the whole game, he was

something until the 3rd period came around and when the Red Wings scored,
out comes this big ass octopus from his crotch and the dude just whips the
