Thats a great sig pic, Sundance. Though I struggle to see why they are so happy being that they won bugger all and are a load of overpaid losers.. :)

Anyway...

Wasnt massively impressed with the Germans. I have a feeling Holland wont sustain their form throughout the tournament. Spain may well stumble as usual. Croatia... they could be a dark horse here. Very difficult side to beat as the Brits are well aware. Never to be underestimated.

Oh, and COME ON ROMANIA... Would be marvellous to see France and Italy out in the prelim... ha/

Yeah the most prolific scorer in English football is overpaid. Mhmm. So is the midfield legend. And the heart of Liverpool's defense for the past 10 years. I've got nothing to say about Babel yet. He'll prove himself. He's only in the picture because he's the only black player at LFC haha.

Edit: He's not the only black player, but he's the only starting XI quality black player lol

Liverpool must have been pretty gutted to have failed on all fronts last season but at least we know they are not as gutted as Chelsea, who really had one hand on 3 trophies.

Liverpool do need to get themselves up to the next level though otherwise they wont win the league for the forseeable future.

Certainly, next year they will have United, Chelsea and Arsenal to content with as usual plus some strong resistance from the next half a dozen sides to which we can probably add Newcastle next season.

It is about time Liverpool won the league, thats for sure.

Ronaldo isn't a striker, he's a ball hogging winger. You know there is no striker in England that's taken more shots than Ronaldo last season? His job is to make attacking passes and he only produced 5 assists.

You don't know about the turmoil going on within the Liverpool Football Club. League is not even a possibility until we straighten a lot of those things up.

All these things go in cycles. Liverpool aren\'t far away from the 70s/80s. On paper they have players to match the likes of Toshack, Clemence, Hughes, Keegan, Hansen, Dalglish et al.
As you say, other factors do have an influence, albeit small. Barry would be an asset. You;d have the team strength, just need a decent manager to make the most of them.

I mean i guess when Mexico and Brazil play i root for them because they led to Fifa domination back in the day... but idk anyone for either team... Besides the like 15 ronaldos/inhos for Brazil.



But in this, all i care is that 8 year old Ronaldo kid for Portugal doesnt win. Thats all that matters to me.
