no experience managin in europe but plenty of honours elsewhere.
personally i think we shoulda went with hughes and let city take scolari (which looked likely at one point) but i'm willing to give the guy a chance. hopefully he'll convince ricky carvalho to stay.
he'll probably b judged on his transfer dealings so here is my guide if ur reading this Phil:
(just main players)
Get rid of: A. Cole, Ballack, Drogba, Pizzaro, Ben Haim
Keep: Essien, Carvalho, Lampard, Terry, Cech, Kalou, Mikel, J Cole, Bridge
Sign: Robinho, E'too, Villa
starting lineup:
GK: Cech
RB: Bosingwa
LB: Bridge
CB: Terry
CB: Carvalho
LM: Robinho
RM: J Cole
CM: Essien
CM: Lampard
ST: E'too
ST: Villa
The names that are in red, Get rid of... The ones that are Blue Keep, The ones in orange, Put them in those positions
Thats just my opinion..
mikel is immense (much better than ballack who passes the ball out of play at every opportunity). he is gonna b one of the best in a couple of years - essien mark 2
robben back wud be great but after the way we treated him he wudn't come back. f*ckin great player tho
i'm happy from what i've seen from bosinwa and richards is more a CB and bridge is better than cole. with bridge and bosinwa u'd have a lot more going forward. bridge's crossing is 2nd to none and i include beckham in that.
robinho isn't a great finisher but he is a great player, fantastic cutting in from out wide for madrid
If I was big Phil id offload J.Cole and Lampard to West Ham in straight swops for Boa Morte and Haydin Mullins. Then id get Djimi Traore in to replace Terry whos off to Inter! Strikers mmmmm, id keep Anelka and probably buy Voronin from Liverpool.
Croatia 2-1 Germany
Commentator on Ballack: Ballack's having a horrible game.
but ppl dont realise this is pretty much par for the course with Ballack. so cud i ask a favour from every1 before u comment on him or feel that he is a great asset to chelsea - dont go on reputation and take ur head outta ur *rse and actually watch him have his horrible game 1st
Mikel....Hmm, he can pass and he's strong but he can't tackle, he gets himself needless yellow and red cards and he doesn't run with the ball enough.
Personally i would of sold mikel and kept lassana diarra <-- he's awesome.
I'm a man united fan and i'm predicting chelsea to sweep the prem this year (god it hurts to type that).
Reasons!!
1. Chelsea play 4-3-3 and scolari has signed players and sold players that don't suit 4-3-3, ehich to me shows he plants to play 4-3-3, and if any1 is an expert at 4-3-3 than its scolari. He used it with australia, brazil and portuagal.
2. Hes getting rid of the no-bodys (sidwell) so far, but i imagine, ben haim, shevchenko, sahar, theres a few others but i cant think right now.
3. He has worked with world class players and has great reputation, meaning he can get any portugese or brazlian he wants, i think ronaldinho and robinho will both be at the bridge next season and will both start, meaning joe cole will be benched.
4. Ronaldo will leave but not till the last day of the transfer window, meaning this big sum off money cant be spent on benzema, messi, ben arfa, ribery, huntleaar, santa cruz, just a few names we've been linked with. By january we could already be out of the race.
5. This is what keeps me hanging on as a man u fan, beckham, van nistlerooy, butt, cantana, keane, irwin, stam, have all left and we've gone on to win things.
