Project 8 ?'s and Sixaxis
I haven't had much success with Project 8...never played a Tony Hawk game before. Can anyone get me started? Plus, i can't get my sixaxis to do its thing during this game, but i was told Project 8 clicks perfectly with the new controller. I'm turning this thing all around and can't get it to work!

IF you really want to use the motin sensor then persever but personally I use the analogue thumbsticks. Its what I am used to and seem to have a greater feel of control...
If you have never played a Tony Hawk game before then you should definately do the training thing first in that big hangar. You will do several tutorials and it will give you a nice set of skills on which to build upon...
It will take a while to build up combos.. There are a LOT of buttons..
Some of the challenges in Career are very hard, espeially to reach the highest rank. I tend to just enjoy the Free Skate and build up my skills.
It is a learning curve but thats what makes this one of the very best games for the PS3 in my opinion. It has a huge chunk of longevity in it.
i havent had it long but it is great. Its silky smooth with lovely graphics and terrific gameplay. two player is marvellous.

I love the way you can jump off the board and start climbing up the houses and stuff...
it makes for a really interactive play area.
I've been well impressed with this game but I havent had it too long.
I havent even tried the motion control. It looks too tricky for me..

Yeah.. and you can do a runing jump onto it..
The way you can do spins on fire hydrants is really cool.
I've had the game about a month now and havent even tried the tilt bit..
I will give it a bash and see how it goes...

I tried P8 with the sixaxis and it is pretty cool. Its just nice to do something different. Still, it takes practice to become so used to it that it comes nanturally so I stick with the analogue controls which are very good.
Tough game anyway. You need to be on it a lot.
Not tried the online multiplayer yet.. too scared! :?

Re: Project 8 ?'s and Sixaxis
I didnt like the motion sensor for the tricks at first but I did persevere and now it makes the games a bit more, well, it makes you feel a bigger part of it, more interactive somehow...
Doesnt help me get anywhere near completing the harder stuff!
