PS3 Multiplayer is a competitive online mulitplayer challenge site where players use their own skill to defeat online opponents. The site provides the infrastructure to allow members to have competitive skill based matches and in no way promotes gambling or games of chance. All prize money gained from the total of members' entries is used entirely in providing the winnings.
Regional Restrictions: Some regions place restrictions on skill gaming activity. You are required to conform to all the laws of your place of residence including the location from where you will be accessing PS3 Multiplayer. It is your sole responsibility to check that you are adhering to your local law. As an example, with the US, the following States prohibit fee/cost entry online gaming: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Iowa, Maryland, North Dakota, Tennessee and Vermont.
Sign up Rules: All sign-up entry payments are made by Paypal. All participants have to be 18 years of age or older. All payments are non-refundable unless that ladder or tournament is subsequently closed in which case all monies paid will be refunded. Only ONE skill gaming account can be created. Creation of more than one account is strictly forbidden and will result in removal from the site and network.
Etiquette: Abusive behabiour towards members of the PS3 Multiplayer site and other participating members will result in removal from the site and network. If you have a dispute please use the Ticket system and your issue will be heard fairly and quickly bby experienced staff.
Cheating: PS3 Multiplayer runs a strict FairPlay site. As such, any members believed to have cheated beyond reasonable doubt will be removed from the site and network. Matches will often have referees or be videos or monitored and cheating in any form, or the creation of multiple accounts may also result in your account being reported to SONY and other related gaming sites.
Match Playing and Reporting: You are required to play each match in a professional and courteous manner at all times. Tournament matches muct be played before the Play-by-date mentioned beneath the Round itself. Players must attend a scheduled ladder match as agreed with an opponent. Not turning up to a scheduled match will result in a forfeit for that match. In the case of a tournament match, this will result in your opponent progressing to the next round. All match results must be reported in to the site within 2 hours. Failure to do so may result in an automatic win for your opponent in the challenge.
