Can anyone make one of these?

I can use it a bit, but need more info on how to apply it and stuff..
Bit confused..

I know how to use it but Vice and Palmer know more techniques. I normally just use them on Color but theres other stuff you can do with them.

What's there to know? Once you make the gradient map choose a blending option and lower the opacity till you like the color tone. Did you need to know how to make custom colors?
