Umm, this game will really divide opinion as it depends on what gamestyle your preference is.

UT is ultra-arcadey like Resistance fall of man but even crazier.

At the other end of the scale is the Call of Duty franchise where it 'feels' more realistic and is based more on real world dynamics.

So..... what do you prefer. I prefer the latter by some margin but I appreciate a lot of people will prefer the buzz and pure adrenaline of UT.

Either way, I will add it to the event list and probably do a Tourney.

Can somebody PM me as soon as you get the game and fill me in on what the online mutiplayer is like and how it works please.

Meanwhile, I will stick that video up on the ps3videos site.

yeah that's on a video camera too, in real life and on your hd tv would be sweet as hell...UT3 for christmas fo sho

Capture the flag
Duel: A one versus one gametype. It uses a queueing system, the winner stays, and the loser goes back to the end of the queue. A typical match last five minutes with an unlimited amount of rounds.
Warfare (formerly known as Conquest): An amalgamation of Onslaught and Assault. While basic game rules are equal to those of Onslaught, Warfare adds unlinked nodes which can always be captured (supplying the captured team with vehicles and a spawnpoint) and countdown nodes (which, after being captured and defended for a certain period of time, create a vehicle or trigger an event helpful to the capturing team) as well as the orb, which can be used to instantly capture and defend nodes.
Vehicle Capture the Flag: Capture the Flag, with vehicles as part of the map; this exists as a separate game type to Capture the Flag, above.

I haven't tried Warfare yet but vCTF is hella fun. Some of the vehicles in this game are crazy. Also one of the best parts about this game is that you can create your own maps and mods just like the PC version...there are awesome maps being created everyday..here's an example..DM Krodan - All custom content - Final - Epic Games Forums And the game shipped with something like 40 online maps already.

I agree it is NOTHING like COD4 but the game is f'n sweet.

No doubt, but COD started in the middle but its gradually become alot more like Socom where its alot slower paced. Im hoping that UT3 brings back the fast paced gameplay that ppl got back on COD FH and COD 2.
