Looks alot like the people who worked on Gear of War worked on this game from the looks of the characters and environments. Call my local game stops and they say tomorrow, can't wait. Also looks like one of the main characters name is Reaper, how appropriate.

lol yeah a few ppl who made GoW worked on this. just about all of them. same developers. but yeah i noticed that when i saw the first video. im not that excited about it but it might be good so i'll probably rent it.

Well if this game is anywhere near Gears of War everyone will have it. It actually looks like Gears on roids cause of the crazy weapons and vehicles on top. I wish it was 3rd person like gears though but I am sure the 1st person will be alright. I predict its going to be a must have for PS3.

halo is never any good, honestly i think if microsoft didnt make its devs rush things then they would get more games like gears of war rather than the rushed console and rushed halo,you enjoy halo for a while but then it gets gay,ill prob rent this game out before i pass judgement on it...its just too unrealistic,i like the fact that their systems/engines are the basis of most fps' but i just dont like having a weapon thats 3 times the size of a human that can pop out of nowhere and shoots some weird green shit that looks like gook....but thats just my opinion....most likely wrong but still my opinion lol

To clarify this...Gears of War is made by Epic Games, Unreal Tournament III is made by Epic Games, the same people who made Gears of War made UT3. Epic Games said themselves UT3 has taken graphics to a higher level than Gears of War did.

dude seriously, shut up. we get your point. but metal gear solid isn't exactly the most photo realistic game out their. UT3 has graphics and gameplay. they proved this in 1999 and 2004 and they're about to do it again.

the game is real nice. Nightmare, you'd like it cause you have a hoverboard you can skate around on to get to places lol.
