UTIII ships 1.2 million, Euro PS3 launch on Friday

At long last the PS3 version of Unreal Tournament III will be released on Friday across Europe. Here's your reminder, just in case you forgot - like we did.

Although we've yet to see it, Midway promises us that the launch will be backed by a multi-million Euro marketing campaign. Expect to see gibs flying around on telly (after 9pm). There are also plans to do "hardware bundles", but what this exactly involves, and more importantly how much it would cost, has yet to be revealed.

Oh, your LegoAbeMan. I had the shittiest connection and it kept pissing me off. Empty servers had 500 ping. I had a hard time killing anyone all day.

OMG dude. I just realized what Heatray looks like and who you are. You were the douchebag who was in the huge ass Tripod the whole time. You were holding down the laser button and racking up kills. I do NOT consider that skills. That pissed me off. Everyones trying to shoot at each other and your getting 3 kills a second. Bogus.

loool. na it aint skills its being smart. why bother try and go in to a deep battle when theres a darkwalker sitting there doing nothing. so being smart i got it and then toook advantage. only skill is knowing how to play the game.

You said "Good game" and when I spawn I get vaporized War Of The Worlds style. You had a 40 streak or something by hopping on a vehicle and holding down R1. If thats what it takes to be skilled, anyone who plays online is skilled. It doesn't matter if its smart, its very cheap and incredibly frustrating. I like fun fair games and about 3 minutes in the game was ruined. Me being stubborn kept trying to end your streak before I left. Playing smart is not accepted in videogames. People like playing fair and using skill etc. My friend who never played a FPS before asked why LMGs were bad. He said "They're smart." After he got his PS3 and played CoD4, 1 day in he was already complaining about LMGs. He said now he sees why people hate them. Your sitting there trying to play and someone kills you so easily and messes you up. RUINS THE GAME.

Honestly that level was built for the darkwalker. Being smart i mean if u see it use it to your advantage. I mean the furthest i got it that was a dominating, so when i used it and got unstoppable and nobody cared that i was init much i decided to go further and got massacre and godlike. so to be honest if u dont take me out ill do what i need to WIN. Playing Fair whatever , UT3 isnt saying ''omg sorry i jumped into the darkwalker i jump out so u have a better chance of killing me,'' NO In a ut3 deathmatch its everyone for himself. to be honest if u want to play now on a different map eg. biohazzard i'll show u i dont need veichles to win. just a sniper rifle and a flak cannon.

Do you use a LMG in CoD4? Support in CoD3? Its not the fact you used it, its the fact there is no AVRiL or other vehicle around and your getting us as we spawn for a good 10 minutes. Basically, THERE WAS NO WAY TO STOP YOU BESIDES FIRE RANDOMLY FOR 10 MINUTES. You know that was so gay and if it happened to you, you would leave too. And everyone thats actually GOOD at games beats people fair and square.

yh it sucks if your on the reciving end but ive been in that situation and i dont leave, i take the ***** down. Honestly fox your good, from what i have seen so if u want to join me in the ut3 doubles ladder it would be good. Rember i play to win not for somebodys fairness. as for CoD Its modern shooter, ut3 is an ALL SCI FI SHOOTER. Plus if i didnt get in it somebody would have.

^Thats one of the reasons I don't think I'm going to play Heatray of my freewill, if thats all people are going to do. I mean, you know the best games are the one where your kicking ass w/o getting easy kills right? And I did take it for a good 10 minutes but I just got sick of trying. I didn't even know if it was pure(Thank God it wasn't). I just left out of frustration. We were all down about 60 kills no joke. I'm about to go play now. I'll send you a friend request.^
