UT3 UK>US Disc connection problem

I was scheduled to play a UT3 Doubles match with a couple of UK guys.

Unfortunately, as I have 2 US copies of the game they were unable to connect and we couldn't play our match.

It told them they needed to download a Core Package but this download failed.

So.. it looks like we can only play US Clans or other UK teams like GBE who have US copies of the game until a patch comes out.

This obviously means other will have problems as well so teams need to check out not necessarity what region the other team is from but what region's disc they have.

Has anybody successfully downloaded this Core thing?
If so, we could out it on this site and allow others to copy it over.

its letting u know that u can't to uk version of UT3 or maybe its a downloadable map that u don't have

admin i have the us version but even b4 the uk version came out it said package core not downloadable. now it happens even more. what isit ?

I have a US copy of the game too and I keep getting this message!

The Core package will not work for anyone, there is a problem with it and they are working with a patch for it now. The patch is in one of the final testing stages and will be released as soon as possible, according to Midway Tech. So any matches between the US and the UK will have to sit on the back burner until they release the patch.
