Core package, packages..?

Well i got my new copy of ut3...cus my last 2 were defective...dam gamestop.
So,i get on and i go to a map that is normaly on there (not a custom)
and it says i need The "core" package and it is NOT downloadable...
SO....what is this package...and where can i get it
Just put the link if its something i have to transfer from my computer to ps3.
O,,,and will someone give me links for some good , custom maps that ppl actualy play

I don't know either, but in my opinion Orange Box>>>UT3. Buy it.

bare people get it. i got it bare times so i dont bover anymore. i think its a fault with the server which is normally on eg - midway_1085 etc etc. but lately i got it on servers not dedicated , so i dont na whats happening. i hear it wont let uk/us players play together unless uk players got us version of the , vice versa. but it dont even let me play with the us players sometimes let alone uk guys. so i dont have a clue. ut3 pwns orang box.

lets see if he comment on my 'mistake'.

Yeah, Half Life 1 was rated greatest game of all time so if you put 3 Half-Life games, a unique puzzle game, and Team Fortress 2 all on one disc for 60 bucks it sucks. I mean just look at all the replay value! Who wants to play something more than once anyway? Who wants to run around with a gravity gun and own spider zombies ambushing you in packs? Who wants to teleport around using portals to solve puzzles and test your brain? Who wants to play Team Fortress 2, one of the greatest Steam games ever made? Who wants 5 games for only 6 bucks, all of which last a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnng time? Who wants all of that crap when we can play UT3 and get killed by random Rockets and get Core download error messages all day long? Orange Box sucks.

not me i rather have ut3. and erm this is how u contradict yourself. how can half 1 be rated as the greatest game of all time when there are so many nex gen games out ? which have been rated higher than half 1? i mean would have good graphics gameplay amazing online or some really bad cartoon frawing puzzle shit game you spend for hours trying to complete ??

The keyword here is was.
When Half-Life came out it recieve 10/10s and was placed at the top of the several gaming magazines greatest games of all time lists. However, its been some time so it probably wouldn't be in the Top 10 anymore but it is definately one of the greatest games out there. The point was, its a very good all around FPS while as UT3 is average.

yh sorry i really cared about the WAS but w.e
ut3 average . average score is 5/6/6.5 and maybe a 7 on certain reviews. ut3. ign- 8.5.gamespot-8.5. overall very good.
as for the half life series there pretty shit honestly. opinion so dont try and judge it. half 3 has stepped up but its not my type of game. ut3 honestly is better in most ways.

Technically, thats like the 8th game though if you count the PC remakes/special versions. If you DON'T count the PC versions it would be the 4th because Half-Life 2:Episode 1 is the 3rd.

And UT3 has no story.

The story is a bot game with a horribly cliche storyline. Its pretty much nonexistent.

Well UT3 kind of does have a story line.....its not a verry strong one though...but it does have one
