Broken 360. If yours broke, how long did it take to get it back?

My 360 broke 3 weeks ago, Microsoft told me they had recieved it after 5 days and are "working on it now". How long will they keep it and would they notify me? Sorry for the strange placement of the thread, could not find a proper place for other console talk. they received it last wednesday, 2 days from a week in repairs.

they say it's faster, like 2-3 weeks turn around, but i doubt it since Micro$oft is never right and always slack.

Mine broke too, I was trying to shove it up a horse's ass and it didn't work when the horse shit it out.

X-Box told me the warranty didn't cover fixing the particular problem that the console was full of shit.

Well I had this 7 times back in DEC 06 - MARCH 07.

It maybe different with the UK, ut we used UPS, it usually took around 2-3 weeks, though one time only like 4 days.

Gears is by far one of my favourite games ever!

Online was soo good, Annex, Gridlock, those were the days....

Halo 3 was shitty, and was one of the WORST games I had played on.

yeah, everyone i know...actually, one of my friends had his break for a 3rd time today, he was pissed...told him to get a ps3, but didn't have the money, but would if he could.

Your seriously just now noticing this???

But It ususally should only take about a month. Sucks though that they
send you a refurbished 360, instead of a new one. So in another 6 months,
your gonna be sending in another one.

yeah i'll just buy a shitty one to use while they other one is out, because it could be months as hollywood said...and then use the refurbished when i get it back, hope the next gen console is better with this, but i even got the 3 red rings on my old, first xbox, and i didn't know about em until the 360 came out.....man, whatever.......

the 360's failing rate is 22% of all 360's....i'm so surprised it's not more than that, but i'm sure that number will increase each month.
