Then you don't. No offense, but Futurama and Family Guy aren't exactly original Adult Swim shows (futurama is funny though ). However, Squidbillies is more of what I'm aiming at. My favorite Adult Swim programs are; A.T.H.F., Squidbillies, 12 Oz. Mouse, Sealab2021 (favorite), and I was digging Korgoth but they've yet to begin the first season.

And.. anime blows unless you're watching Fist of the Northstar (the one where they use pressure points to blow your veins/head/body up in shit, lol).
